Our Process

🛠️ How we work at Yakiwo: from form to launch

One of the most common fears when hiring a web design studio is not knowing what happens after you send that first message. When does it start? What do you need from me? When does the price come up? At Yakiwo I believe clarity is part of the service. So here’s exactly how I work, step by step. No surprises. 🎯

📋 Step 1: Intake form

Everything starts with a form. Not a blind meeting, not a “send me a WhatsApp.” The form lets me understand your project, your goals, and your visual references from the very beginning — so I arrive at the next step with real context, not assumptions.

It’s the first smart filter in the process.

💬 Step 2: Initial feedback

With the form in hand, I review the project and explain clearly what I can do, how I’d do it, and whether it’s a good fit for the way I work. An honest conversation: no empty promises, no rushed quotes.

First I understand. Then I price.

📄 Step 3: Budget & proposal

Once we’re aligned, I put together a complete proposal that includes:

  • Detailed work plan
  • Site architecture (page and section structure)
  • Estimated timeline per stage
  • Step-by-step process
  • Total investment
  • Terms & conditions

Not a number in an email — a document that puts everything in writing so we both know exactly what we’re committing to.

💳 Step 4: Confirmation & payment

If the proposal works for you, the project is confirmed with the upfront payment. That’s when it officially enters my schedule and the start date is set. No payment, no date. Simple and transparent for both sides.

📁 Step 5: Content delivery

Before I design a single screen, I need the content. Texts, images, logos, references — everything that will live inside the site. This stage has fixed deadlines agreed upon in the proposal.

Why does it matter? Because design depends on content. A site designed around placeholder text almost always needs to be redone when the real content arrives. We skip that problem entirely.

⚙️ Step 6: Design & development

With the content in hand, the main stage begins. The timeline varies depending on the project — a landing page is not the same as a full eCommerce — but it’s always defined from the start.

I work in 100% custom WordPress: no templates, no generic solutions. Every design decision has a purpose, and every line of code is built for performance, accessibility, and SEO.

🔁 Step 7: Review & revisions

With the site built, we enter a feedback round. We review together, note changes, and implement them until the result truly reflects what your brand needs.

This stage has clear revision round limits — also defined in the proposal — so the project doesn’t drag on indefinitely.

🚀 Step 8: Launch

When the site is approved, we go live. I check that everything works correctly in production, that forms respond, that speed is optimised, and that there are no loose ends before launching to the world.

The launch isn’t the end — it’s the beginning of the next stage.

🔧 Step 9: Maintenance, support & ongoing growth

Once online, your site needs care. WordPress and plugin updates, content and design changes, backups, security, performance monitoring, and ongoing SEO improvements — everything needed to keep your website at its best. But beyond the technical side, I offer something increasingly rare: personalised attention.

No tickets or support forms. Any question, change, or unexpected issue gets resolved directly with me over WhatsApp — fast, straightforward, with someone who has known your project inside and out since day one. I don’t deliver and disappear — I stay present and support every brand in its long-term growth.

Because a website isn’t a finished product: it’s a living project. 🌱
